During my internship at PayPal, I built AI-powered "Friction Finder" with Claude, Datadog, and MCP servers, enabling Checkout product teams to reduce friction detection time by 75%, targeting $100M revenue uplift via conversion optimization for 400M+ users. I defined AIOps strategy for observability team, set north star metrics (MTTD, MTTR) and unified 15+ tools into a Real User Monitoring (RUM)-based user friction detection system, shifting checkout optimization from reactive to proactive.
